  • b6t head on b3 block

I have a stock 93 festiva that I purchased recently with what I was told a blown head gasket but have found out otherwise is a cracked head. My neighbor has a 86-88 B6T dohc head that she said I could have in trade if I trash out her shed/yard. Alot of work but I spent all my money on the festiva.

Will it work so i can get it rolling or not waste my time ?

Just get the head and sell/trade it on here for a B3 head. It might work.

i have a free 1989 head you can have. its carbed and was a head gasket failure too. take it and see if you can use it. I dont know its real history and havent looked at it. Took it out of the parts car and set aside in the garage. pm me for number.

          P.S. I'm in corona.

I would take pics of the b6t head and take it over to the mazda forums. I dont need another one!

some b6 heads will work. it doesnt help performance and may lower compression. a b3 head will work on a b6 but not enough flow to help anything.

                            Now a b6 head will work. A b6D or a b6T head will not.

Hmm. Low compression B3 (B3 plus B6 head) for the turboing? That would be awesomeness.
