I was sniped this morning. I had to leave for work with 11 minutes to go, and was sniped at the 6 minute mark.
Anyway, I know for a fact that the gasket is identical between the KB laser pump and the festiva pump. The question is whether or not the arm will follow the cam. The inlet and outlets are in the proper place for my twin carb setup, and I believe the clearance would be too. The only thing I definitely know, is the Festiva diaphram pump won't clear the vacuum chamber on my carb, and therefore cannot be used.
Does anyone know how the pump arm is supposed to follow the cam lobe?
Visually, there is no return spring on the KB pump.
