    Does the G series flywheel all the same? Can I use a Capri flywheel with an Escort clutch?

    BPT, G5M-R, BP26 Exintake swap + Fidanza cam gear, NSRT4 FMIC + 2.5" piping, HKS SSQV BOV, Exedy clutch, 3" downpipe + 2" all the way back, Aspire brake swap, KYB GR-2 & FMS coil spring , FMS EURO body kit + Carbon fiber hood, Falcon RTX 15X6½ + Toyo proxes T1R 195/45R15

    i would say yes, you could also order a clutch from a 323 GT/GTX since they had the G series trannies too

      What clutch I should buy to put with my tranny? I allready have a SPEC one on my festi tranny and it work really good. But what other brand do you guy recommend?

        Im pretty shure that the escort clutch is different than the capri/323gt clutch. I might be wrong though check mazda323performance itll be on there somewhere. Just use the clutch thats for the trans your using. Haven't been too impressed with SPEC my 323 se has a stage one and its slipping with just an dp back exhaust and a cone filter. I haven't had an ACT in a car yet but a few friends have them and haven't had problems.

          the problem is we didnt get the capri in canada so cant really order parts for a capri

          Maxim send me a pic of the flywheel and i'll let you know if its the same as the one in my b6t car although if i remember right they look the same

          i have a dual friction centreforce clutch in my b6t and it works great

            Chris do you remember when I got the tranny from you if you had a flywheel with?
            Or
            Brian do you remember if you gave me the flywheel wih the tranny?

            Cause if this flywheel come from Brian it is a B6T flywheel

              Ya i do remember seeing it, but it's been a while :lol: and yes its the one that came from Brian which is the proper flywheel for the G series tranny

                Ok good. Maybe it is a stupid question but can I use an escort clutch on it? Cause I don't want to get stock with a clutch that don't fit. I'm pretty sure it fit but I need to ask the question.

                  IF on the odd chance it doesn't you could always return the clutch

                        Thank for the answer guys. Now I just need to buy a new clutch for my new tranny. Does anyone here want to have a SPEC clutch stage 2 for a festiva tranny .

                              next question, can you use a B6T starter with the XR2 trans and a protege LX flywheel?
