I'm new here and doing a search on engine upgrades,. and have a few Q's for you guys. what does a Capri come with? how many horsepower does it have? and if this would be a good engine to look for?

what year and model, Mazda came with a turbo -
The 323 (b6t) but you will be hard pressed to find one of those anywhere since only about 3000 were sold in North America and most were in Canada. If you were asking about the BPT you can only import them from Japan cause they were only found in the Familia (I think) but there were none released in North America with the BPT. Other than that you will have to get a N/A engine or pull a Capri motor. Oh yeah as for the power I believe its about 130hp and 130-135 torque but I am not sure about the torque its somewhere around there, but you will for sure blow your tranny with that motor unless you get a g or f series mazda tranny.the blue b6-ze oh yeah!!Comment

B6T has 132hp. and 136lbs of torque.
There are lots of capris for sale in the bay area.I've seen some for $750 to $1200,I mean thats a good price to start with.You can sell lots of parts either on forums or e-bay,I made most of my money back.
