Here is a website of local engines. What is the difference between a turbo and non-turbo 1.6L engine?
Dillon Auto Parts

Some Toyota and Lexus grilles in stock. Ask if you don't see what you need.
Thanks!
89 Festiva, 95 Aspire brake and engine swap. Future air ride suspension as soon as I figure out how.

Turbo is a lot faster
I have a b6t in my festiva, it halls ass. Turbo engines are a lot easier to mod.
1989 B6T Festiva...... it is a constant work in progress.

B6 is standard 1.6 L SOHC 8 valve engine, rated at 82 hp.
It came in a SOHC 16 valve variation too, rated at 105 hp.
There is the DOHC B6 (100 hp) and a DOHC B6T with turbo (132 hp). The turbo engine has lower compression to work safely with the turbo.
When you are specifying a Mazda B series engine, besides the displacement, be sure and know what number of valves and cams it has.
Car parts stores will of course be fixated on the year, make and model.
