Mods?

Hi i have a '93 ford festiva GL it has a 1300cc 4 cylinder but im not sure what kind of engine it is therefore im not sure what kind of mods can be done. Does anyone know what engine the '93 GL has and what kind of mods can be done?

The B3 is what you'll find in all stock festivas from 88-93. As far as engine mods go, you'll be better off swapping it with a 1.6L SOHC B6 from a 323 or mercury capri. They're not hard to find, relatively cheap, and are a direct bolt-in that takes you from 50 to 80 or so whp. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try a BP or turbo engine. Thanks for that mate. I have found a 323 B6 for sale and its quite cheap so i might look into it.
