  • Diy rev limiter

I have found on the internet how to make a rev limiter by using a shift light and a relay. The idea is that when the shift light turns on with the adjusted revs it will switch the relay on and makes the negative side of the coil (-) makes contact with the ground of the car's battery, and it will makes the ignition stops firing as long the relay is switched off by letting down the revs. The question is, will it damage the ignition module?

    Thanks

Seems kinda like a rigjob to me.... why not install an ignition box and have the benefit of better ignition?
