but are you wanting one to mount a turbo to your motor or just a header on it? i had to build my own for my b3 cause i didnt want to pay for one lol... it only cost me about 40 bucks in metal and a copple hours of work to make it... if you are just wanting to make your engine bay look better then ya that will make it look better but if you are wanting to get more power then i would just go and do a motor swap... the amount of money it takes you to build a b3 up to the power of a b6 you could have done the b6 swap and gotten a bit of mods done on it...

ramshorn is pointless unless you have a turbo.

Just build some good old fashioned 4 into 1 headers if your going to stay NA. There are thousands of pages/sites already dedicated to this tho so you shouldn't have any troubles there...

And don't even get me started if all you want is looks!

im just saying it would be cool the only reason i ask is because the FMS headers are real expensive. they cost more than i bought the car for so i was just aking how to do it just for a cool affect with upgraded pipes thats all

Unfortunately, unless you source from a junkyard, any real performance parts you buy (unless you have the ability to modify like crazy by yourself) are going to cost a bit...

Look at old motorcycle 4 into 1 headers....They are about the right size and shape you just have to come up with a flange. (Quaddawg) a member on here could make you one.

Trace your flange and cut it out of 3/8" plate, order some elbows, straight pipe and a collector, and weld it up. I think once you had every thing in front of you, it wouldn't seem to hard.( unless your not into cutting and welding) I have a buddy who would make you one for $200 plus shipping. But that might put you back at the price of the FMS set. I can get you pictures and dimensions and possibly a vender for the pipe, if that stuff will help.
