I was wondering if anyone knew if you were to get a 4 speed from Australia out of a festiva if it will work in a 94 Aspire SE. Any help is greatly appreciated. Roger from Festiva Motorsport says he can get the transaxles from overseas, I know the bell housing will bolt to any 1.3 or 1.6 but I don't know if the half shafts are the same as American and if the mounts are is the same spots, also if the obd computer has anything to do with the trans in the later models. This would be an interesting mod! Any of our Australian members know about this, or can find out?
If it'll fit an Aspire, it'd probably go right in a Festiva (with the Festiva mounts). Four speed ATX with lockup torque convertor. Yummy!
