I have been doing repair work on a fleet of Festiva's.The owner talks of wanting to look into putting a Mazda engine in one.You guys surely know which engine he might be referring to?Drop me a line with some info.

Reason: clarity
the stock festiva engine is a mazda enigine, so the mazda 323's are good donor cars for an upgrade engine, or the escort GT for a 1.8 DOHC, they are all part of a "B" series engine and are mostly interchangable
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
3rd Annual Festiva Madness. The largest Festiva Meet ever held of owners and their cars 2009 Festiva Madness link with pictures. 51 Festivas & 4 Aspires from eight states attended.
Mazda engine is a little vague since there are several that will work with little effort. Go to the "Engine Swaps" section and you will find tons of info on Mazda engine swaps.
Never ceases to amaze me how folks will NOT take the time to do a little research on their own. Or maybe just read some of the Stickies in the sub Forums.
And yes someone will say Im being an unhelpful a.. by not giving the link. But when its as simple as reading the stickies. Why?
The festiva is a mazda designed car with a mazda engine in it.
With a mitsubish throttle body too would u believe?!
