what is the difference?

I am working on putting B3 head on B6 block. I come across these two intake gaskets. Looks to me like a problem. Anyone know about this?

Now these photo's might not be accurate. That is what I am asking.

The B6 looks correct....the one on left.

one on left is 88-89 323 mazda
one on right is EGI festiva, 88-94 or so.

I did not look at carbed 1.3's

Just use the gasket for the intake you are using. I imagine you are using a festiva head with a festiva intake, therefore use the festiva intake gasket.

No, I am thinking of putting a 1.3 head on a 1.6. And, t is a 1988 Mazda 323 intake.

I have yet to get back to the junkyard to have a closer look. From the gasket pics it appears that 1.3 intake side is way different. What is the third water passage for?

If I could find an ford FSM would be nice.

that's not a water passage, it's the EGR passage... ignore it, it's for a carbed intake.
the other gaskets are for an FI intake.

use the B6 headgasket and the B6 intake/exhaust gaskets.
