My brain was so fast it was slow. If anyone in recent posts think that the 1.3 aftermarket tube plenum is cake, then id pay for one that would work with a 2001 north american 1.6 mazda protege engine. what exactly happens to all the egr stuff with an aftermarket intake like this. ? i took my upper manifold off the lower bit this afternoon on my spare engine, there arent even any upper intake runners? its all just an upper intake plenum... nasty and carboned up and all.Comment

EFI Festivas don't use an EGR.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

mine is that of the aspire young sketchman. and it has egr going through the intake manifold, wierdest thing in the whole world. thinking about using inert hot spent fuel to cool the engine back down and reduce emmitions. youd think that having an eficient swirl and burn combustion would be enough for these people.Comment
