    My n/a bp car does 15.5 @ 90ish mph
    Wow, I see what you mean about a turboed B3 being fun! And you get to keep the great gas mileage if you can keep your foot out of it. You ran my B6rt at the track on its first and only run at 15.65 IIRC (tho we know it can do maybe high 14s with a little tweaking*).

    I'll ask the question for everyone else: how much in parts cost would it take to put one of these together? And how much would you charge them to do the work? No other mods like clutch, axles, tranny, etc. Well maybe with a new clutch. You can use PVC pipe to keep the costs down.

    * Not that kind of tweaking!

      12:1 On both mine and TominMo's car I used an extra inline fuel pump to support the pressures. The stock pump has a hard time keeping up @ 75 psi which would limit you to around 5-6 lbs. With another pump you can easily run 10 lbs.

      I can be done as cheap as $300 plus labor

      Or it can be as expensive as one could imagine.

      I'd say $750ish on parts (with clutch) and ??? on labor.

      Oh yeah Tom that's your turbo and clutch and a few other parts on my car in that video

            ^^^^i live in edmonton so if you can find a way to get it here for a resonable price i might consider it. but in the mean time i am still turboing my b3. so i think i might run into clearance issues with the wastegate and the intake side of the compresser so i think i might try to mount it at an angle but if anyone has any ideas that would be awesome.

                        I want to know more about why you guys went with a 12 to one controller. You said the stock pump wouldn't handle 75lbs which is about 6lbs of boost. But my brain calculator said base pressure 40+12x6 is 112lbs. What am I missing? When I get around to turboing my b3, I'll be using b6d injectors with an adjusted rail pressure to flow like stock flow. So I'll start at 25 lbs or so. At 15 lbs of boost, I could expect double stock airflow, which would require double the stock fuel flow. To get double the flow with your pressure it takes 4 times your base pressure. So 100lbs. To calculate fmu ratio, 100fp - 25fp = 75fp. To figure the ratio 75fp/15lbsboost =5.

                          Wouldn't a 5-1 ratio fmu suffice? 12-1 at 15lbs of boost would be roughly 180+40 base pressure. 220 is an impossible to achieve fuel pressure. Injectors blow up with that much.

                            I used a 12:1, it only takes over when above the stock fuel pressure. So around 4 lbs it comes into the picture.

                            Where your calculations change is in the pressure vs. flow

                            Every time you double your fuel pressure, you will NOT double what your injectors do. They will act about 40%larger ( old rule of thumb)

                            you can tune an fmu, but id start with a 10 or 12 to one. The 5 to 1 might leave you a little lean.

                            Make sure you have a wideband 02

                              Yeah I know about the pressures. 4x the pressure for double the flow. I've never ever heard that rule about fmus before, would it not act like a series restrictor with the fpr? So any amount of boost would bring the overall pressure up

                                It only comes in effect when the pressure needed exceeds the stock fuel pressure....

                                So.... @ 12:1

                                1=12
                                2=24
                                3=36
                                4=48
                                5=60
                                And so on, you see how the first couple are not above stock, so it's still using the fpr. Then four ish the fmu takes over. The stock fuel can't keep up much over 6 lbs. That's why we run two pumps.

                                I saw 140 psi @ the fuel rail before
