  • Pacesetter Adjustable shift kit.......

    Anybody have this?? Wanted to know the pro's and con's.

    too short

    The handle is too short. I took mine out long ago, to collect dust.

              I run one in mine and love it, its easier with long arms though since its a little short
              It's not the size that counts....It's how you use it.

                  It is a little more "harsh" than a stock, but I like it not felling so rubbery

                    Mine does at least, doesnt hurt that the origional owner put stiffer bushings in either, im not sure where he got them from though but its has alot less side to side play then my other one with the stock shifter

                      I'm running the Pacesetter shifter in my car too. It is definitely shorter and when I first installed it the I felt the top was too far forward (closer to the radio). What I did is shorten up the rod that runs from the bottom of the shifter to the transmission by 1/4".

                      I really like how it feels and looks, especially with the full console.
