I just got offered a 2005 3.0 Duratec in exchange for my '95 2.5 Duratec.

the 3.0 is a complete crate motor, harnesses and all!

seems as though it easier to just exchange a 2.5 with another 2.5...

my friend with the 3.0 has a 95 Contour in need of an engine, and discovered I had a new 2.5....

so let's see.... a 3.0 4v with an Eaton M90 supercharger, MegaSquirt II with EDIS.... 300hp? :shock:

well, that 3.0L turned out to be a bust. It's not new, its a warranty return with no documentation. I'm not even gonna attempt to diag it without knowing the concern.

however........

a new possibility has surfaced...

I've recently gained acces to a totalled (flood damage) '97 Continental.
hmmm... 4.6L 32 valve v8, about 280hp? mid engine like a ShoGun? :twisted:
