      coil

the large plug on aspire is for ecu cam , ecu crank signal , power and grounds , the small plug is the power for coil and the negative trigger from the ignition module ( inside aspire distributor ) it also used for rpm in cluster.

          wire

white wire , in to the transistor in distributor, you need to remove the coil and it is the flat terminal under ignition plate.

Well theirs only 3 wires going to the coil. The , tach, a one used for testing. The to , the tach you'd probably have to wire up a adapter and the testing one dunno. You don't need to mess with the other connector.

                ah ha!

It finally sank in. I have to remove the coil from the dist to find both leads! Then hook up the white wire like yvan said. So I can't use the outside wires at all.

God, I hope this is easier then I think.

Alright, the next stupid question, how do I remove the coil from the disty?

I see a couple of screws on the outside that look like they hold the top half to the bottom half, but I don't have a 90 degree screwdriver short enough to get in there. Is that what I need?

                    ah ha!

There's a second in the middle of the post the rotor sticks onto, but I don't know if I should undo that.
