    Electric super charger??

    Hello, i wasn't sure where to post this so I'm sorry if its in the wrong place, but my friend wrecked his Ford Probe today (deffinitly. totaled) and he wants to sell me a Electric Super-Charger that was on it, he said 10 bucks and its mine, do these do Anything worth buying it? it looks just like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...28973103QQrdZ1

    OMG it looks like a blower motor off a 56 Chevy, Do a search on electric superchargers here and look at the reviews it got its not very old.

        Man, that's funny do you have to push a button every time you want it on? Would think they sell a micro switch to bolt to your throttle body to turn it on under WOT.

          Wouldn't hurt. I'm going to expirement this summer with a blower from my dad's old wood furnace when I go to the 1/4 track. I would though do a double "v" so that the blower doesn't cause any restrictions under normal driving.

            I will get a vid of a guy that hooked up a leaf blower to 2 different vehicles both on the dyno before and after ,you would not believe the HP. increase :shock: he put the end of it right in the intake tube , it's pretty good I will see if I can find.

              I'm thinking about trying to rig one up using the heater blower fan off our old astro van... if I can ever get my evil B6 up and running again... I doubt it would do anything on my B3 with only 3 cylinders firing... lol
              No festiva for me ATM...
