Illumation wire for tach??

Okay where in the **** is a good spot to hook into for the lights?? I've tried numerous wires that shoud have worked.. they were the blinker lights.. worthless haynes manual. This is on 94 Aspire btw. All the other wires are hooked up and it works.

Just take the illumination wire from your radio harness, easy peasy.

Didn't want to work off of that one. It said not to the illumination wire up to circuits that are dimmed by a rheostat. I did hook it up the red/green it only comes up with the headlights not the running lights. It will do for now.. but i'd like it to come one with dash lights. It didn't work off of the dashlight wires also.

the radio illumination circuit isn't rheostat-ified... it's worth a shot. the one you're talking about might be the fog light something or other, which only works with the headlights... where'd you find that wire?
