  • cutting carbs

I am new to this whole festiva world. I have an 88 with a carb and want to know if it is worth the time to swap to fuel injection and what are the are the options to do so. I am an ase master tech but know nothing about carburaters, i can't even spell the word. Also, my manual shifter has more slop in it than a pig trough, what are my options for that? Any help is greatly apprecitated. I am so glad a found a place that is dedicated to the fesiva.

    Re: cutting carbs

If the car runs OK and you're not planning an engine swap, I'd leave it as-is.

        yeah

i have since read and searched several post on these topics and apologize for the redundant questions. I did find several b6 motors at junk yards in my local area, and that is probably where i will go next, more stupid questions to come
