Ok so I traded my brother my hyundai accent for his BP swapped festiva. As of right now the car runs super great. We swapped a b8 block in for lower compression for a turbo setup. We need to fabricate a charge pipe in order to turbo it. basically what Im getting to is, could the low compression block be the reason for the overloading and smoking under a load?
When you first fire up the car it doesnt ploom out blue smoke untill you try to take off. once you get going it clears up. It stays clear unless you engine brake a good bit or smash on it revving it tight. A few people told me that it couldnt be valves seal because it would smoke all the time, even at idle. That sounds logical, i mean my bro replaced them when he built the engine.
Im thinking either the low compression, or the fuel pressure regulator.
Also I noticed yester day that the plug on the CTS is really loose. I do have a check engine light. Could a bad CTS cause the computer to pull timing and richen the mixture? It also has a slight pop when engine braking thats why I assumed it was overloading.
