    installed a newer BP engine 94+



    This one is in a 1995 MAZDA 323 BA Series 1.

    Im having trouble finding a pre 93 BP here in aus.

    ok i just found a photo of mikes 230hp festiva and it has a new engine, although it has a custom intake mani and distributor.

      im running a 95 escort bp... but its ran off of all 94 mercury capri xr2 electronics
      I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

            as long as its not obd2 you should be fine... you may need to get a escort gt ecu ecu to plug in to your festiva harness if the 323 one dosnt work...

                i forgot that over there is rhd cars... i know a bp has been put in to a rhd festiva but the MC was VERY close to the intake manifold...

                  Yeah there was a fellow that did a project "project wasabi" that put a bp from a 93 tx3 or in america an 'escort' and that fit and yeah it was close, but im having trouble finding a older engine where as i can find heaps of the 95+
