  • my pipe dream with your input

Hey I was just researching a shopping list of the parts I want to build my bp with .. so far I know I want to do the following. 1mm over size, blue print and balance, line bore, new rods, 9:1 pistons, gaskets, p&p, 3 angle valve job, oversized valves, arp head stud, arp main stud, complete gasket set, adjustable cam gears, new valve seals, springs and keepers, main bearings, cam bearings. I think thats it. I was wondering what year miata parts, pistons and such would work. I know I am going to be running ms, and I need help on chosing the turbo to run because I am a noob when it comes to turbos and boost. Thinking a T25 of some sort? I know I am going with 2.5'' exhaust. I was thinking about getting most parts off of here. Keep In mind I know this is tons of money but its just something to work at in the future.

Flyin' Miata is the world leader in Miata performance and well-engineered, proven Miata MX5 components. We offer parts for a full range of Mazda Miata, MX5 and Eunos Roadsters vehicles.

also was looking into this but was hesatant

I think thats it for now. Thanks for your input in advance. -Dan ccasion5:

The true EVO III big 16g would work perfect for you bro. You can easily swap compressor housings and suck to fine tune the turbo for whatever rpm range you want. With that turbo and everything you plan to build on, you should see 300hp easily. The tranny would be my main concern though.

My uncle does powder coating, But I am pretty far from you and he normally only does big projects. I just got my dirtbike rims powdercoated by him. If you have questions I can always ask him

gt28rs or a cheaper non BB 60 trim t3/t4 would be good for 300+whp

A 9.7:1 compression with a turbo on pump gas seems a real stretch unless you are planning on tuning for e-85. If it's around you (it isn't in CA) then id go that route real quick

What would be a good compression ratio for a turbo engine and stay on pump gas?
