5 PSI? From that little thing? LOL!!

        ...and for $200.00?

        Forget it.

It looks like the motor sits in the intake tract. It's probably more of an intake restriction than anything else.

Someone should try it and post some results. When not on however it does seem like it would be in the way. Maybe a better idea would be a variable switch on the throttle body.

I say go for it....it's not my $200.

Should work well with your BP ECU, and the other go-fast bits

Discuss making performance enhancements to the OEM-spec engine in your Festiva or Aspire.

              Sorry couldn't resist...

900W motor = 1.2hp and with that fan design, there ain't NO way it can generate 5 psi of sustainable boost. figure our 1.3 needs about 150 CFM at redline.

just found a calculator and it shows and ADDED 160 cfm to make 5 psi so that means the motor has to flow OVER 300 cfm under load.

                    People have done that ^^^

I just read up on these. There are electric superchargers but they require their own battery/capacitor bank and only run for seconds...

LOL... You'd get more performance from substituting carrots in for your spark plugs.

Yeah I seen the guy that did an electricl supercharger that actually worked. I might be mistake but I believe it was on a tauras and he actually got it pretty quick in quarter.
