IIRC, a B3 & B6 have the same TB (smallest). A BP has the largest TB. Not sure about a B8, B6ME or B6D. I haven't heard much about TB swaps in a long time, I was thinking there were 3 different TB's on the B series.

The BP throttle body is found on the Escort GT (1.8L DOHC Mazda). I believe it will bolt up, just have to enlarge the opening in the intake plenum. Not sure you'll gain anything by swapping onto a stock B3 or B6.

i dont think you will gain any HP unless you have full exhaust and a CAI, and even then, its iffy.... cause then the intake manifold on these motors are quite small and then the factory exhaust manifold isnt that great... but its up to you, if you want to see if it will get you more power go for it, more power to ya (hehehe... bad pun )

if you do want to get it, you can find them off of 85-89 323 SOHC's and i think you will have to get them off of a car with the manual trans cause i think the auto's have a diffrent TPS and wont work with the ecu...

ya the b3 is the factory festiva motor...

just letting you know to, a bigger TB will make your throttle touchy, it may be harder to keep and steady speed...
