  • Hmm....

From my user name this post will be super predictable but hell why not. I was just thinking of taking a project or two that have been done and take it to the max. Hot Rod's Bad Seed project meets the Shogun. Yes... 500 V8 (8.2) Caddy meets mid mounted goodness. This is just a feeler, it has been done to a 70's 911 but honestly why not take it to the max. Totally impractical weight balance retarded, but I figured I would see what you all would think. From braking, suspension, etc.

    Here is what I see:

TH425 stock in the donor plus half-shafts etc.
500 family engine with updates to valve train flaws.
And a hell of a lot of chassis work.

I honestly would try this but I have a couple of things killing this dream:

I have way too many projects and not enough time.
I do not have a solid perfect candidate to even start this with.
I try to save every Festiva and old Caddy I find so therefore I will never get to it financially (Basically I have auto collector ADD).

    Doesn't mean I won't try though. I have four spare TH425s and many 500s.

1991 Festiva L 5-speed 297K (R.I.P. but the engine and trans is still living on through Ntrcool's first Festy)
    1990 Festiva L 5-speed 172K (Beast!)
