thanks...the only reason i took it off was because i was losing oil from the valve cover...how do you feel about marvel mystery oil?

I had to re-do my valve cover gasket when I got my festiva, seems liek the usual thing to go wrong. And about the marvel mystery oil, I have never used it. I burn so much oil that I dont even bother lol

Yeah but it was all cracked and old, got a new one for like ten bucks. Hasnt leaked a bit of oil since then, but my valve guides are toast and I burn more oil than gas. LOL

I am saving up, I just got a free festiva two days ago, and I am already selling it for 1200, so that is going to a truck for me (I am only 18 ). I need it to haul my dirtbike around. When I get that, I will start rebuilding or find a new motor to drop in :headbang:

Glad I'm not the only youngin on here haha. Now what exactly is the seafoam and marvel mystery supposed to do to the motor?

Seafoam cleans the intake when induced through the intake, can also be put in the crankcase to clean all lubricated parts, or in the fuel to clean the lines and injectors. Marvel mystery oil in my understanding is to mildly clean, and to free sticky lifters/valves, etc.

Although my valve alley is much cleaner than the one posted, and my car has 206,000 miles on it.

the bp i pulled out of the junk yard was that clean... its amazing how much cleaner your engine is when you actually changing your oil on time and in regular intervals.
I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!
