  • Just got back from the dyno...

    drum roll please........dun da daaaa!!! 225HP from 5800rpm to 7200rpm and 209TQ at 5000rpm

    does any one know what the stock b6t timing curve is?
    I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

    Aspires and Sways all around, Miata B6 installed, KYB G2Rs just installed in front. Wish for coil overs someday.

      full list of engine mods:
      Egt BP
      91 octane pump gas
      13psi
      3" jaguar vaf adapter with an ams oil 3" filter
      3" vaf to turbo pipe
      mitsu evo3 big 16G
      mitsu starion intercooler
      1g dsm bov piping and bov recirculated
      gutted intake manifold
      custom turbo manifold made from a cut up escort manifold(i used the stock pipe bends)
      tial ms-v waste gate externally dumped with 0.9 bar spring
      2.5" full turbo back exhaust no cat 2 cherry bomb mufflers
      all capri XR2 b6t electronics/engine management
      370cc t-bird turbo coupe injectors with home made resistor box
      walbro 255 fuel pump

                Those are some nice numbers for that car, What was the timing at on that pull?

                Any plans on doing a C16 run and highboost eventually ?

                  Post up a graph I'd love to see the curve when the turbo kicks in.


                  What was your AF ratio at ?
                  Is the Motor built at all?
                  What flange is on the turbo? AR?

                      Base B6T timing is 12* BTDC

                      I don't know the timing curve. Its purely mechanical, I'll see if I can dig it up in the FSM

                        sweet thanks... i need it to program my mega squirt... and i plan on bumping to 16-18psi when i have my ms working. i know base timing i need the progressive timing by rpm map

                            Ill bet on greater than 250whp with 16-18 psi.

                            You really need an LSD... I bet low 12's if you could get sub-2" shorts.

                              oooops...paying more attention to his name than his post...I thought that seemed high...hmmm all the more reason to go BP. I like that torque figure by comparison too.
