just wondering is there anything I could remove in the vacuum system to make it less tempermental and clutered? IE. the little box on the side of my air breather or the pump under the battery........ plug holes or reroute them?

You can remove the little box (resonator) on the side. Just plug hole, I used a plastic screw cap for deturgent bottle, glued on.If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!

The best solution to eliminate all of the vacuum lines is to perform a Weber carb upgrade.
Use the search engine and you will find photos of how the engine compartment looks after the conversion.Comment
