Is 4 Wheel Drive Possible?

Of course it is, and I was wondering what's involved with this job.

I know 4 wheel drive is better, but truly would it be with a festiva? Oh yeah, this thing looks too big. Bigger than a normal BP engine or maybe it just seems that way by the pictures online.

looks like a possibility. You have to see about a rear axle... maybe one from the AWD car that engine came from. It would more then likely have to be cut down. Then you'd need to modify the rear suspension (a lot!) Of course you then need a drive shaft, and will it fit in the center tunnel with the exhaust and shifter?

That sounds like a lot of work and expense, but it sure would be cool!

A Subaru Justy might be a possible donor car - they're small and, like all true Subarus, are 4WD.

Or you could just buy a Justy and drive it around...
