standard copper core for me, i don't feel like changing my coil every few years. stay away from platinum plugs, as they put more load on your coil.
i'd bet Bebandit that you'd find your dodge will like AC Delcos even better than those Bosch plugs.Trees aren't kind to me...
currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

I've tried other plugs. All work about the same in my Dakota although the last ones I put in were copper core instead of Platinum (they were cheaper). Still get about the same fuel mileage. Also I'm still running the factory coil on my Festiva that came new with it 21 years ago!Last edited by Team Lightning; 04-12-2011, 09:48 AM.Jerry

Autolite copper core for pretty much everything I put plugs in, except for those pesky cars they decide to put them under the intakes... BTW I used to work at Federal Mogul in Burlington where they make Champion plugs, and Champion, Autolites, AC Delco, and most manufacturer brands beside Ford are the same exact plug.

I asked my friends at the local Autozone about the Bosch +4 plugs. They said they had a lot of complaints on them. Plats and +2 no complaints. That's why mine has +2's.Jerry

^^^ LOL
I typically gap mine to the large end of the spec (.043) so the spark has a larger gap to jump and ensures ignition of the mixture... but I check my plugs quite often because it's a great way to gauge how the engine is running. You could set them to .039 if you'd like to "set it and forget it" for a while so the gap would have plenty of range to move towards the big end of the spec as the electrode eroded away over time. Or you could just use the "Goldilocks Method" and set them in the middle (.041)
