Hey everyone, maybe not best way to start off here, but here is the deal.. I own a 93 Festiva L 5spd. Within next few days I am puting nitrous on it just because I am really sick and tired of all local ricers taking smack and how their cars are fast... Car is in high 17s q mile which is pretty quick for what it is, but im defenetley hoping for more out of it.. just out of curipsity, has anyone on here tried this before with their stock engine? Well I will keep you updated, and maybe eventualy get swap and turbo it... we'll see. anyways I am in cleveland ohio area. and lookin forward for the festiva meet thats coming up. hope to see a lot of people there.

Welcome to the club of the Insane or Geniuses remember it's all a point of view  . I wouldn't go to hot with the NOS maybe a Venom programmable system would work best because it uses your existing injectors for fuel enrichment. Keep us posted and good luck.

      ...

Wet kits have a chance to allow the mixture to seperate on the way in an d allow the engine to run lean (BOOM!). A dry kit (makes the injectors inject more fuel - less chance of lean mixture) works great for the B3. 35 hp if you want to be safe, 50 if you want to live dangerously. 50 is almost double stock HP rating. Should be more than enough to make you smile. NOS kit is a good choice - requires a small amount of tuning, ZEX is almost idiot proof and VENOM is EXPENSIVE and requires electrical wiring to be done to work right. I have sprayed my B3 with a 35,50 and a 65. The first two require a drop in 2 plug ranges and PREMIUM 93+ octane gas. The 65 I used a MSD 6al with a ignition retard to pull 2 degrees of timing, 93+ and two ranges colder plugs. I wouldn't suggest the 65 if you want to keep your engine around for any length of time. Good luck and let us know how she does.

thanks for the input guys. I have wet system, and I would run the car on 110 octane. Gettin plugs and wires as well... exhaust on the car has no restrictions at all... no converter or resonator or muffler. Also just made a custom air intake for it today. NOS should be on the car by end of next week. I'm doing 50-65 shot and thinkthat should be pretty good on the stock engine. if i blow it up it may work out better because than i will be start to look for something to swap and boost

I will keep you guys updated oin how this goes....

i would get the impression if you shot a 65 on a stock festiva clutch it would toast within the first bottle i bet. Hope you upgraded your fuel pump I'm sure you max out the pump with a 35 shot.
