Hey, it's been a while since I've posted anything but my brother and I are going to build up a bunch of festiva's this year and I was doing some research into transmission bellhousings and from what I found (on paper, not in practice) was that a 1.8L from a Geo Storm (1990-1994) will mate up, and so will the 2.0L from the Mazda 626 (1983-86). Can anyone confirm this?

The geo storm motor (1.6 and 1.8, 4XE-W and 4XF-W) has a completely different bolt pattern
I have a 1991 Isuzu Impulse RS that uses the 4XE-WT engine, the bolt pattern does not match up. Where did you find this info?1991 Mercury Capri XR2 "GTXR2" BPT Swapped AWD Conversion
