Okay which would be quicker? I'm pretty sure it would be the aspire trans. Would it matter if it was mated to a b3, b6's or the bp? I need to replace the clutch in the stiva shortly and I may change out the tranny, I'm starting to hate those tall gears, although going 80 at 3100 isn't bad. The aspire seems to run at 3400 at 80 although it has aerodynamics. Would it be worth the change out? I'm not worried about the mpg.

Simple answer, yes it will help acceleration... Although depending on the situation it may cause you to have to shift into another gear in the 1/4 so you may wind up being slower in the 1/4 although you have better overall mechanical advantage (acceleration) they go hand in hand... -KyleCosmic Blue 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 - Mostly Stock...
