Any performance tranny's mount into the 1.3 stock eng. Festy

I dont feel like doing a tranny upgrade right yet, I have dropped alot of money the last month or so on my project, however I ask for your expertise in Festiva tranny's. What if any tranny's will bolt right in to a 1.3 and perform? Are there any tranny's that will slap right in with no or few mods? My motor will be done soon and I want to avoid drivetrain problems. Thanks guys. Again what will mount right in with minimal and preferably no mods.

The G25MR will bolt to the 1.3. You need the tranny and halfshafts from a 88-89 323gt or a 91-94 capri xr2. You'll need to use the flywheel, clutch, starter and the plate between the engine. Custom mounts all the way around. The tranny will put your engine a little further forward so you'll need to make both tranny mounts and the engine mount.

Also the escort gt tranny will work but it is a hydraulic clutch and this requires more mods. You still need the shafts from the 323gt or capri xr2.
