  • recondintioning intermediate shaft

I should be getting one soon, waiting to hear back from someone.

And i was wondering if anyone has information on reconditioning them.

Lately ive been efficiency conscious and the amount of energy that can be wasted on bearings i want to get the most out of them.

    Nick.

The kia rio axle is a replacement for the intermediate shaft needed for the g-series tranny.

Interesting, i'd say they are f series axles. But i didnt think they'd fit in an auto aspire (WB Festiva) the auto e series must be the same as manual f series? axle wise

                        ^^ those are F-series axles.

The bearing in the intermediate shafts are replaceable, I've never seen one go bad though. It's a beefy bearing, finding one shouldnt be too difficult

No such thing as a E series auto. The festiva uses the F3A.
