  • G Series info

Friends I moved this question from another thread. Seems there is some small errors on the the list we've been using. Our list shows a G series came with 3.55's. But in actuality this probably isnt correct. Most likely 3.85 or 4.10(from I've been told)
So here's my questions. If I dont know what year my G series came out of.But I know its a Hydo. Can I assume that its a 93-96 tranny most likely from a EGT? Or am I way off base here? I was under the assumption that 91-92 EGT's came with cable clutch's.Can someone please clarify?

This next list seem to not even show a G series cable shift except for AWD applications? Maybe I missed it but I cant find a cable G series in here. Thanks guys for your patience.

Are you confusing the clutch mechanism with the shift mechanism? The AWD models use cable shift, rather than the rods we use in the FWD models.
