Dang man that's no good, for my little b3 I just used a moped honing tool and cleaner a similar issue uP a bit but with your high performance application idk what to suggest. I'd assume the bearing aren't replaceable( cast. Into the head) so a new head might be needed

The bearings are cast into the head. I really hope I don't have to buy a new one. What do you mean if the hole mikes run it? This is only the second or third car head I've had apart (the first one to have a serious problem like this..) so I don't know what I should do here. Is there a way to smooth it out so it doesn't cause more damage? Can a machine shop do anything to fix it? I'm also having trouble getting the springs out, the compressor tool I.have won't work on this head.

don't touch it. the score is not in line with the oil feed hole, so you wont loose pressure there. just make sure the score has no high spots that need removed and then LET IT ALONE!!!

Here is some specifications. A micrometer or digital caliper is used to make
measurements against specifications.."to mike" something is just that process.
There are inside expanding gauges that measure the hole the cam sits in. A
micrometer then measures the gauge. The reading and the specification can
              be in thousands or millimeters.

Here is some of the data that would be used. General specs, then expanded
for camshaft, then quick specs, three different specs just brought up looking
              at cam.

Reading what your pic says, nothing to worry about, clearance will work fine
debris score is minor, torque lubed cam to head with no belt or followers
and see if it spins free, no sticky spots. I think it will pass that fine.
