I have a 90' festiva with a Bp swap with my stock 5spd trans, everything works fenominaly together, My question is although I installed a new clutch with all the new found power it slips in most all gears, anyone have any ideas on clutch options without getting a custom one made, any company's make a stage 2 or 3 clutch, I like the long gear ratio of the stock festiva trans, I think im going to swap in a Egt trans later on but for now need something stronger, I really dunno the full potential of my swap cause I have to baby it as to not have the clutch slip, any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank yall very much.......

Remember thou, with a good clutch your tiny stock trans is being put under alot more stress than previously so it's more likely to go bang.1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.

I'm in the same boat, wanna upgrade my stock clutch that slips like no tomorrow in every gear. But I'm not sure if the Stage 1 is enough, or if I need to spend the extra 100 bucks for the stage 2. Really don't want to buy the stage 1 for it to just slip also. But don't want too overkill of a clutch on the stock trans.'93 BP-T 57trim TO4E - Coilovers - 13x7 steelies - 175/60 - 48k mi

Don't launch it and you will be fine. Mine was good after a month of racing (no launches) and slamming gears 24/7. Should last you a few months being somewhat nice to it. RIP. 91 Ford festiva BP swap
