      choke

pierce manifolds sells choke cables. u,usually have to take the auto choke assembly off,and put a block off plate in its place. an experienced mechanic, could help u,rig it up. when i want a manual choke on a car,i put a weber ,with a manual choke in place of the stock carb. ive never seen a conversion, for the festiva. does your auto choke, operate ok? if not,a rebuilt, auto choke carb,is the route id take. ask FESTY BOY if anyone would know,he would

Last time I checked, they were like $16 for a universal kit from most McParts.

However, it's a bit cheaper to just grab a throttle cable from a lawnmower, or rear brake handle and cable from a bike, etc.

I rigged a spring-loaded one to my carbed motor home. Just a unshielded cable sticking through a hole in the dash. A spring-loaded one won't be left on.
