Checked my narrowband output today as per the WSM and it works fine. warmed up the car, ran it at 2500 rpm for 3 mins. Shut it off, connected my dvom to the sensor output and ran it. It was sitting at .6v then I pulled a vacuum hose and it went to .1 then I allowed it to stabilize and pulled a plug wire and it went to .9v. I wanted to check the output to the PCM tonight and proceed with the tuning but unfortunately I punctured my hand at work right at the end of the day and now am waiting for a couple of stitches. Atleast our dealership has a running tab with the hospital down the street. Lol Jk..

        a) im sure your body doesn't appreciate that

        and

        b) Are you running a wideband? i know i hooked up my MSPNP with my AEM uego via the narrow band wire on the harness and played around with the narrow band settings/voltage value.

But that doesn't help me with getting power to my tps wires.

Yes I do have a wideband, innovate motorsports. I kept with the oem hookup for now just to get it going. The wideband is more a less a monitor at the moment but it will be used in the future as an input to the mspnp

Bumping my thread. My Aspire is now running on the MSII. Fords resistance values charts for the temp sensors were wrong much like the evtm. I didn't assume they were correct but I tried them anyways. ended up measuring various values from 7 degrees up until 190 for the ect and 10 degrees up to 150 for the iat so I had a nice chart to pick from. It's far from tuned perfectly but I am very happy so far. It's a great learning tool.

                  Hi 'ya Tim,

On My megasquirt install I measured the sensors as well and discovered the values were different then the published data. Congratulations on getting the Aspire running!
                  How's is your cold starts?

Cold starts are crappy, even warmer engine starts are lean for some reason. I have to tip in the throttle for about a minute or so then it will hover around 14-15 afr. I also have a stumble at around 1100 rpm when I let the clutch out. It's almost like its a fuel cut. If I tip in slightly higher and don't let it drop to 1100 as I let out the clutch it's fine. I also coasted down in 2nd gear and right around 1100 again it did the cut. It idles fine. So it's far from perfect but I will continue to research and adjust

I upped the ase percentage and adjusted the taper, cold starting is a bit better, still going to tweak that. Found my tip in accel problem, apparently there was a 0 in one of my spots on the ve fuel table. yReplaced it with a value closer to the ones around it and my fuel cut is gone, who'd a thought.. The tweaking continues, 2nd-4th gears are becoming way funner so far.
