  • Info on Bahnhof Stage 1 clutch

I had mentioned Bahnhof clutches in another thread. A few of us had tried to get info on Bahnhof. Not much info available, but I did find this, by asking the seller on ebay.

    Dear customer,
BAHNHOF is an independent clutch brand from Autoparts-express. For that purpose we use components for different manufacturers such as: Exedy, NKK, Luk, Competition Clutch and Seco; depending on the car. If you have any more questions, please contact us. Sincerely,

    Auto Parts Express

Price is good, and i'm not gonna be hammerin' on the B6 (all the time) so I may give 'em a shot.

    Any comments?
    Dan

I will be getting the Bahnhof clutch!

Good or bad, I am stuck with it now.
I shot a "make offer" to them of $75, and it was accepted.

So a Stage 1 racing clutch, made up of Exedy, Luk, and NTN parts, shipped to my house for $90.

I dont think I did wrong with that, but I guess i'll see.

    Any opinions?
    Dan

I bought an F1 miata clutch kit for my protege a while back, the clutch was exedy, and the pressure plate was a secco. I never checked the throwout bearing.

i just purchased a banhof stage 1 not too long ago. Hopefully you saw my thread about it because it is a suzuki swift clutch. It will work with some machining and redrilling of the stock flywheel.

I put one in my festiva a while back...worked good for the 500 miles i had it on my b3. As soon as i put it in my b8, major slippage. Went to parts store and bought a stock no name brand clutch and 3000 miles later its still fine. Stay away!

That sucks to hear...I'm trying to find a solution to my "High Power" turbo B3 setup. Don't want to waste my money and time on something that will be useless.

Well, all I can hope, is that my experience with Bahnhof is better than yours, 'cause I own one now.
