  • My spiffed up B3 Valve Cover.

    I took the casting flash off with a file. Sanded w/220 grit, and scotch bright. Sprayed it with clear engine enamel. Breather is a modified stainless steel unit. There's a hole drilled through the inlet tube, so the breather won't fall off.





    I used lacquer thinner for the cleaning, including inside the baffle. I used prep sol for the final wipe, prior to clear coating.
    '88 Festiva L, stock carby engine (with exhaust upgrade), 4 speed tranny. Aspire Struts and Springs, Capri 14" wheels, interior gutted, battery in back

      nicce work... i know its a pita to polish a v/c. i gave up and painted my kia one
      I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

        It turn out sort of 'pewter' looking, rather than brite aluminum. The clear coat should keep it this way.
