I really want to avoid buying another wrong part, so I'm looking for confirmation that the hydro G series clutches will swap with cable g series transmissions. I have an xr2 cable clutch tranny, and a protege BP flywheel from a hydro clutched transmission.
I've been eyeballing the stage 3 clutchnet clutch, priced the same as stage 2 (309tq). It's rated at 379 tq, but its not a 6 puck, it has rubber bushings that I think will make nice smooth shifts like the springs. They don't list one for a capri, so I'm wondering if the EGT/protege will work? The car will end up between 230-250 chp after the turbo goes on.
Opinions, answers? I'd like to have a clutch ordered in the next day or two, if there are cheaper and better alternatives let me know, the clutchnet clutch is around 330$ and its more than I want to spend already.
