We have an 88 festy 4spd that we swapping a 5spd into. The 88 4spd has 3 wired senders on the case and the 5 spd we are installing only has two. Anyone know what the extra sender on the 4 spd is for?

2 wire sensors are for neutral switch, backup lights, and the 4 speed has a 4th gear switch to disable the shift light on the dash.
