    yes, the 2nd gen b6 manifold will not bolt on... IIRC it will fit but 2 of the bolts dont line up and you wont be able to tighten it to the head right...

      ^ correct. only 1st gen B6 manifolds (both) will fit a B3, the 2nd gen will not mate properly.
      Trees aren't kind to me...

      currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
      94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

        how bad is the misalignment for the 2nd gen? Can you just drill the holes or widen existing holes?

          I know this is years later, but you, blkfordsedan and especially BigElCat are flippin' genius.
          Really.
          I live in Sydney, Australia, an area where the limitations on cars are almost draconian and ANY modification can attract attention of the local or highway patrol police, so stock appearance is a major plus.

          Porting the manifold makes good sense, but dividing an oversized down pipe is just magic. Mind you, it might have to be 3 inches , , ,
