  • Aspire tranny

    As many know ive been insearch of a transmision with some failure do to lack of communication and what not. I found an aspire close by. So the question I have is can I use an aspire tranny in my festy?

    From what I have read, you only need to use the Aspire mounts to swap a Aspire trans. The rest is the same except the final drive is different.

      Yes you can use it. The front mount is different, try ot grab the mounts.

              It's still a e-series, just a different final drive gear ratio, it will be a little quicker off the line, but your highway mpg will suffer a little.
              Im not driving a Festiva because I'm poor. I drive a Festiva because i want to!

                  I love my Aspire trans. Makes quite a difference in acceleration.

                  As mentioned, you'll need the front mount. The rear is the same.
                  Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

                    If you can get the whole car for 500 you will be ahead, rust free rear beam would be a good thing in your location.
