just go on ebay and type in any early mazda(protege, 323, gtx, 626) 1988-1995 area filter adapter cone filter maf adapter and 4634673687 chinese ones will pop up for 10$ I believe

See the four close-proximity screw holes? They bolt right up. The plate will be a bit larger than the VAF, but it works. I know for a fact.In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright:

A 3" opening to mount it, and then it's up to you to decide where you want to put it. You can add piping between the adapter and the filter if necessary.
