South America? Dude I saw a 4 door pride the last time I was in Rocky Point! That's 4 hours from my house and not much further from yours, not too far fetched. I'm not into 4 door sub compacts so it wasn't exciting for me, but I'll get pictures the next time i go.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

I'd rather have a regular 2 door usa issue one for the cornering fun. However the 4 door trunk sedan ones id love a crack at, over the hatches...totally forgot about those. The Polish rep's have links to all kinds of modded out examples.
Yeah sure if i was 19 again, id take a trip down there and road trip one home, drinking cervesas all the way. Heck they might even have an in dash cooler like the Japanese one!1993 GL 5 speed

"B" and "F" DON'T share the same belhousing pattern.
Quote from link;
"
The ‘F’ motors (F,FE,F2, FS) are larger in both bore spacing and deck height than the ‘B’s are are mostly unrelated. Little to nothing will interchanges between the 'B' and 'F' motors, even the bellhousing bolt pattern is different from the 'B' motors."

I don't think Mexico received anything different than us. Central and South America traditionally gets the cool stuff, and a few have just come up. As I said, and almost all men probably say, oh to be 19 again with the brain i had when i was 30 etc.
And to answer Christ, if i was formally importing a vehicle from south of the border id not waste the opportunity, time, red tape, and money with a festiva--it would be something obscure to showoff or flippable. A festiva I'd just drive home and vin switcheroo for me type of deal.
