  • Automatic to manual transmission swap

I have the "Smurf car" a 1995 Aspire that I dropped a "worked" B6 (from a 1989 Mercury Tracer) in. I bolted it up to the 3 speed automatic that was in the Aspire originally. Is it possible to convert to a 5 speed manual and hang a clutch peddle and other stuff in it. If it is possible what 5 speeds will bolt up to the B6 and what other items would you recommend that get from the salvage yard.

I have way too much work in the suspension in this one to go get a manual transmission Aspire and change everything over to it.

    Cortezit.

The car is called the "smurf car" because my grand daughter likes the "smurfs". It is blue with whire hub caps.

Did I ask the wrong board for information? If I did I apologize and will move to another website.

OMG Calm down Day Time Emmy ! (Joke) Hey I'm doing this now, along with a million other things. I should be finishing in a couple weeks. The write up on the Aspire site is not the way I would recommend.
