  • b3 tunning

Hi my friends I finally tunned my b3 engine but I have some problems first I will tell you what I done and you tell me what is wrong and what is right and what I must do
    1-porting and polishing the head
    2-lightning fly wheel
    3-exhaust valve from 28 to 31 and intake from 33 to 38
    4-bore becomes 71.5 from 71
5-I put something under the spring of the valve to make it hard
6-All other things are stock (carb.– fuel pump–intake and exhaust manifold)
The car knocking, the car is lean, the car torque decrease what I must do to solve this 2 problems and also I want to make my exhaust 1.75” is that right waiting for your replies

It's not that people don't understand it's that most on this forum have never done any of the mods you did. If you did head work then I'd guess that your carb isn't set for the increased air flow. That could cause a lean condition.

Did you just do this or did you have an engine builder do this?

if your running lean then you need to increase fuel  Sounds like you need to tune the carb to adjust to the increase of fuel and air that can get into the cylinder. Think of it this way, you open'd up the cylinder to accept more fuel and air but your still only getting the same fuel /air ratio as before so that means its sucking in more air than it did fuel... solution is make the carb skeet some more fuel in

or some thing like that

mechanicaldj will prolly know more as to what to say.. and make fun of me

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.
